The secret of Machu Picchu revealed

One of the most puzzling and greatest mysteries of our world that has baffled archaeologists and ‘ancient astronaut theorists’ alike are the Inca ruins known as Machu Picchu or ‘old mountain’ in Quechua, an ancient language of South America.

Ancient astronaut theorists, among others, believe that the citadel could not have been built with the limited technology of the time: made “of cut stone fit together without mortar so tightly that its cracks still can’t be penetrated by a knife blade” (ref. National Geographic).

Was it built by extraterrestrials (aliens) or perhaps with the help of extraterrestrials? Ancient astronaut theorists say ‘yes’ (ref. The History Channel). Regardless of who built it, what was its purpose? A great location for kite flying? No one seems to know! One clue is its wondrous location, overlooking the Urubamba river and valley hundreds of feet below.

One night I was awakened in the dream state and found myself at the very edge of Machu Picchu! Needless to say, I was in my Spirit body and in a state of heightened awareness. And I wasn’t alone! There was a small group of us, lined up, each waiting for their turn, to do what? Fly, of course!

It was my turn and all I could think about was what a great opportunity this is! There was no fear — only excitement and anticipation of a fun and exhilarating experience, like being a child about to enjoy a ride on a roller coaster at a fairground, but without the seat and straps.

As I ‘took off’ I spread my arms which instantly transformed into the wings of a large bird — like an eagle or condor. As I flew over the gorge and in between the mountains, following the path of the river, I could see for miles, the mountain peaks and river valley below.

Soon however, my awareness began to fade and I found myself in my bed, in my physical body, awake and aware only of my immediate worldly surroundings. All I could think of was how fortunate I was to be given another chance to experience what true freedom was like — freedom of Spirit, everyone’s ultimate and true destiny.

Now back to the purpose of building Machu Picchu. It now seems obvious to me why it was built. This might be a stretch for some — ancient astronaut theorists come to mind, but I believe something like shamanistic rituals may have been performed there. Perhaps it was used by some secret society for the purpose of training in the mystical arts, with different levels of ‘initiation’. One of these may have involved developing skills in out-of-body travel. You see, when you are in your Spirit body, you are able to ‘shapeshift’, that is, transform your body into any form you can imagine, whether it be some animal or a large bird!
